My Story

My name is Felecia McGowian.  I am a Marine Veteran from Jacksonville, Fl, now living in Ramona, Ca.  My journey in photography started when,one of my good friends had a dslr camera, and it caught my interest with all of it's abilities.  One day, I decided that I wanted a camera similar to her camera, but she informed me that there were better ones out there, so the research began.  I came a cross my first camera, the Nikon D7100.  It surprised me at first, of how beautiful my images were...but it was just the camera on automatic. Then, I researched and found out about manual mode, from there the beast unleashed.  I took photos of a few different people, posted them, and people started asking me to take photos for money...I never planned on being a photographer ever in my life...but unknown dreams are always revealed. Photography is MY FREEDOM!!!
